Your Contribution: Be the VP Finance's Right Hand and Scale Fleet's Finance Function in an LBO context
We are looking for a Finance Manager to become the CFO’s direct partner and contribute managing the full finance scope at Fleet — from accounting to FP&A, from FinOps to strategic projects in an LBO context.
You will report directly to Florian, VP Finance, and work hand-in-hand with our Finance Associate (Dan). You will have full visibility and involvement across the entire finance perimeter, with direct exposure to the CEO and Board-level discussions.
Fleet is a profitable company under LBO, growing 90% YoY in 2025, with operations in Europe as well as the US and currently expanding to Mexico / Latam. This is a rare opportunity for a 3-to-5-year profile to take such a role!
Main missions
- Drive FP&A and performance management: own and continuously improve monthly reporting (P&L, cash monitoring, key KPIs — growth drivers, margins, CAC, LTV, cost structure). Prepare investor updates and quarterly Board materials. Lead ad hoc deep-dives on pricing, unit economics, ROI, and any question the business throws your way.
- Build the finance stack of the future: contribute to implementing best-in-class tools (billing, ERP, BI). Proactively suggest ways to simplify, standardize, and automate finance practices. Bring a data-driven and systems-oriented mindset.
- Drive high-impact strategic projects: beyond day-to-day finance, you will be exposed to a wide range of cross-functional topics — intellectual property and trademark management, international expansion, tax optimization, working capital optimization, governance, etc. You'll never run out of new problems to solve.
- Improve budgeting and business planning: contribute to strenghten the budgeting and reforecasting cycles, analyze monthly variances (actual vs. budget), and contribute to building the company’s long-term business plan.
- Own accounting & tax compliance end-to-end: manage relationships with accounting firms across France, Spain, Germany, the UK, and the US — with Italy and Mexico next in line, coordinate with auditors in France, and ensure the quality, reliability, and consistency of financial data across all entities. Supervise tax obligations and filings (VAT, corporate tax, R&D tax credits, etc.).
- Manage day-to-day operations: supervise customer and supplier invoicing, bank payments, payroll validation, and cash management. Ensure smooth operations despite rapid growth and international complexity.
Your Profile
There is no formula for success except perhaps an unconditional acceptance of life and what it brings. - Richard Branson, Founder of Virgin Group
We don't hire CVs — we hire people who get things done. Here's what we think work best for this role:
- You graduated from a top business school or university with a specialization in finance/accounting.
- You have 3 to 5 years of experience in finance, controlling, or audit — ideally in a B2B and/or tech environment (startup, scale-up, or large company with an entrepreneurial mindset).
